Do you have a winter emergency action plan for your business? If so, this would be a great day to dust it off and review procedures with your employees.

- Make sure you have up-to-date contact information for all employees.
- Decide how you will notify employees if weather conditions will cause delayed opening or complete closing of business.
- Safeguard your physical plant and clearly designate responsibilities for checking property and equipment.
Review OSHA standards for cold stress here with any employees who may be exposed.
